Church Websites for Church Growth

by Chad Gleaves

Church growth is one yardstick by which you measure if you are growing as the entire body of Christ. To begin with, as a pastor looking to grow your church, you'll want to check your motives together with great integrity. You'll want to take a look at your endure - am I trying to grow my personal church with my own strength for my very own glory or are I seeking God's eye-sight for my church? You must keep in mind that it is God who presents growth, we can only plant and water as God wills. After having ascertained Gods will it may be seen that there are a few main barriers that will stunt church website. What are they?

The first barrier for you to growth is SPACE - We love jampacked places! Haven't we visited that crowded nearby mall because it is popular however there is another, every bit as good or maybe even better, closer to home? We need to increase our seating or perhaps look for a larger corridor when our area is 70% full and not wait until it is complete to overflowing.

The 2nd barrier to development is lack of Home DEVELOPMENT - In the event you, as the pastor, aren't growing spiritually your church is not developing. Unless the leader is getting a fresh revelation on a regular basis he cannot steer his flock effectively. What are the signs of lack of growth? The message in the pulpit becomes dull and repetitive, the congregation is no longer interested in ministry or even soul winning, the staff does not grow and also the church does not grow. The leader needs to replenish himself in the The almighty regularly.

The third obstacle to growth is SHARING - Each time a church stops searching of itself to share with the community then it is hunting inwards and only discussing its very own programmes. It is no more time reaching out to the people. Stay away from this doing things only for itself. It will become a church which includes only a lot of great works but it income no one. We can get good works with out faith but we cannot have faith with out good works. Spirit winning is essential with regard to church growth.

The fourth barrier may be the WORSHIP SERVICE - When people are brought to your church they are available there to see why they should accept this specific God. Are their people living his or her lives the way they say they are? An expression of our affection is worship and also praise. It is the peoples' time for you to get close to Lord. What is the impression anyone create? Are we dreary and lack lustre with no joy that Jesus has promised people? Energize your worship time.

The fifth hurdle is STAFF * As our church grows we need a lot more staff to maintain the sleek running of the cathedral. Here we need to emulate Acts 6:1-4 where the apostles selected more effective men to serve the particular growing church. Deciding on or hiring staff members is definitely an exercise of faith. Many people think they must first accumulate the resources and have that in place before hiring employees. But we must transfer faith knowing that Lord is our service provider, if we did it inside our own strength we may never have the resources. When God gives the progress He also provides the provision. Praise God!
